What would be the most exciting invention in the next 10 years?

We are currently progressing into the fourth industrial revolution.

Wikipedia lists the main fields for this revolutions as: robotics, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, quantum computing, biotechnology, The Internet of Things (IoT), 3D printing and autonomous vehicles.

We already have some very basic AI being integrated into everyday life. I would think that within the next 10 years we will see more advanced AI combined with robotics to produce robots.

This has the potential to be both very exciting and disastrous for humanity. Robots could take on all kinds of work that is hazardous for humans (such as cleaning the oceans or building colonies on Mars). But they will also replace humans in menial work and gradually their skills will increase to more complex jobs, requiring a step change in world economies and consideration of concepts such as basic income.

This could be the most significant change to civilisation in all of modern history.
