What's the fastest cryptocurrency in transactions that you have ever used? Is the speed of transaction important for you when you invest in cryptos?

Of the main cryptocurrencies, the graphene technology coins are very quick: Bitshares, Steem and EOS. Ripple is also fast. I've transferred Steem to exchanges and between exchanges and it's always a better experience than any other coins I've sent.
The speed of transaction is important for any coin that wants to set itself up as an actual payment system. This is why Bitcoin will progress with lightning networks and Ethereum will have second layers like Raiden.
For me the general utility of the coin has been more important than the speed of transactions to date. But we're fast approaching the point when crypto coins have to start actually delivering on their promises.
For me, any coin that can't do what it says it does in a competitively short time frame is going to get left behind.
