I would assume that musing won't make a significant change to their current approach and so will use it to upvote questions and answers.
They will have a decision to make as to whether to increase the value of upvotes (by keeping the upvote percentages the same) or the quantity of upvotes (by decreasing the upvote percentages but upvoting more responses).
My own view is that there is likely to be an influx of new users so the latter approach would likely be more appropriate, ensuring that new users get a good welcome to the platform. The value of the upvotes is already fairly generous for answers.
Other possibilities are:
- to use upvotes from the SP to reward the musing manual reviewer team (utopian takes this approach).
- to offer bounties for development using large upvotes to pay for the development (although the development already looks pretty well progressed)
- to sponsor contests for marketing purposes
