Would you like to be paid your salary in cryptocurrencies?

I would be happy with to do this, yes. And I think that it's not a bad idea in general, as long as it's a small amount relative to the amount being earned, and voluntary. Dripping in a small investment each month is not a bad way to smooth out some of the peaks and troughs of the volatile crypto market. And diversification between different asset classes can also be beneficial.
There are already some companies that are taking this approach. In Japan for example there is a company that allows you to take an amount of your salary each month in Bitcoin. This would make sense in particular for tech companies that are working with cryptocurrencies.
What I expect that we will see next is companies starting to pay their employees amount of their own cryptocurrencies and SMTs, as a bonus (like a stock bonus). This would be a way to give the employees a stake in the success of the company and its currency. This is only likely to happen on any significant scale after regulation, since companies will be wary of the uncertainty that crypto currently represents in terms of legality, security and taxation.
