Hello dear little spiders, just as you read, I ask for an extension.
I declare myself at this moment, totally and absolutely unable to finish the unfinished project I started two months ago. Yes, that project of the 12 dolls, well, I tell you that they are exactly as I left them in the last post, without arms or hair. Unfinished projects bring their emotional charge, because at the beginning we get excited, and it is not that at this moment I am totally unmotivated. It's just that along the way new challenges appear that excite us and we start another, and another, and another, and another, until we realize that we don't just have one unfinished project, but many.
That's what has happened to me in the last few weeks! ... hahaha I'm a real mess of projects and threads. And in order not to face that reality, I keep them in their little boxes or bags and so they go unnoticed.
This weekend, after almost a month absent from the platform, I decided with great fear to review my projects. They jumped out like ferocious monsters that wanted to devour me or that is what I saw in my imagination that has a lot of volatility.
With astonishment I realized that I have in progress the project of the 12 dolls, the project of the memories for my companions of the "Tell me the Story" Workshop, the project of the attachment blanket for a newborn and counting.
Full of panic I closed the boxes again as I discovered that August 31 is less than 10 days away, that is the deadline to finish our #WIP projects. I sat down to meditate and watch TV, hahaha I accept it was an evasive technique. After a while I came to the conclusion.
12 dolls. Definitely 
The gifts for my partners in the "Tell me the story" workshop. I had thought about making them some mugs with happy faces, but I barely have the shape of the mug knitted and the workshop ends in a week. So yesterday, in a quick change of mind, I started to knit some very easy to make bookmarks. As you can see in the picture I have only knit 12 and I have to knit at least 15. Hahaha a challenge, but I will finish them quickly.
As for the mugs, I've been thinking about it and I think they will be an excellent gift for my friends, clients and acquaintances in December. So I will make animal shapes, smiley faces and other things I can think of. I will let you know how this project goes.
The attachment blanket. With this project I am under pressure, because the baby is due at the beginning of September and I am still missing the head of the attachment blanket. By the way it is going to be a teddy bear. And with that same project I have to knit an octopus. Ahhhh time, time wants to eat me!
Working under pressure used to be a walk in the park for me, but now I realize that I like to take my time and not having it gives me stress episodes that are not good for my health. So as I write these lines, almost in zen mode I try to breathe and say out loud to myself "Come on, you can do it".

Me declaro en este momento, total y absolutamente incapaz de terminar el proyecto inconcluso que inicié hace dos meses. Si aquel proyecto de las 12 muñecas, pues les cuento que están exactamente como las dejé en el último post, sin brazos ni cabello. Los proyectos inconclusos traen su carga emocional, pues al principio nos entusiasmamos, y no es que en este momento esté totalmente desmotivada. Es que en el camino aparecen nuevos retos que nos entusiasman y comenzamos otro, y otro, y otro, hasta que nos damos cuenta que no solo tenemos un proyecto inconcluso, sino muchos.
Eso es lo que me ha pasado en las últimas semanas! … jajaja soy un verdadero desastre de proyectos e hilos. Y para no afrontar esa realidad, los guardo en sus cajitas o bolsitas y así pasan desapercibidos.
Este fin de semana, luego de casi un mes ausente en la plataforma, me decidí con mucho miedo a revisar mis proyectos. Saltaron como monstruos feroces que querían devorarme o eso es lo que vi en mi imaginación que tiene mucha volatilidad.
Con asombro me di cuenta que tengo en curso el proyecto de las 12 muñecas, el proyecto de los recuerdos para mis compañeros del Taller “Cuéntame la Historia”, el proyecto de la manta de apego para un recién nacido y contando.
Llena de pánico volví a cerrar las cajas al descubrir que el 31 de agosto está a menos de 10 días, es decir, el plazo para terminar nuestros proyectos #WIP. Me senté a meditar y ver televisión, jajaja lo acepto fue una técnica evasiva. Luego de un rato llegué a la conclusión.
12 muñecas. Definitivamente
Los regalos para mis compañeros del taller “Cuéntame la historia”. Había pensado en hacerles unas tazas con caras felices, pero apenas tengo tejida la forma de la taza y el taller termina en una semana. Así que ayer en un rápido cambio de opinión comencé a tejer unos separadores de libros bien sencillitos de hacer. Como ves en la foto apenas llevo 12 y tengo que tejer mínimo 15. Jajaja todo un reto, pero esos si los termino rápido.
En cuanto a las tazas, estuve meditando y creo que serán un excelente detalle para mis amigos, clientes y conocidos en diciembre. Entonces haré formas de animales, caritas felices y otra cosa que se me ocurra. Ya les estaré contando como me va con ese proyecto.
La manta de apego. Con este proyecto estoy bajo presión, pues el bebé nace a principios de septiembre y todavía me falta la cabeza de la manta de apego. Por cierto va a ser un osito. Y con ese mismo proyecto debo tejer un pulpo. Ahhhh el tiempo, el tiempo me quiere comer!
Trabajar bajo presión era para mi un paseo, pero ahora me doy cuenta que me gusta tomarme mi tiempo y al no tenerlo me dan episodios de estrés que nada bueno traen para la salud. Así que mientras escribo estas líneas, casi en modo zen trato de respirar y decirme en voz alta “Vamos que tu puedes”
