Happy Monday my little spiders!
I am very happy to tell you that my project of the dolls - friends, is going very well. I already have 7 of the 12 dolls I need to knit to represent my friends. Thanks 
The funny thing is that 3 of them don't have arms yet and I realized that I only have 2 pairs of eyes left from the ones my friend 
In my successive posts I will be telling you how my adventure with this gigantic project is going. Once the bodies are finished, I will continue with the hair and then their clothes and what makes them unique ... I'm still thinking how I will develop the idea of what makes them different.
Ratatouille
As for this week, I came up with an idea that I saw in my social media wanderings. I came across a group of mice, very cute and in many colors, of course the white and pink mice stood out among all the others.
I automatically thought of Remy the adorable gray mouse who wanted to be a chef ... and succeeded, because for those who want, nothing is impossible. So I searched through my yarns and found a very thick yarn that I almost don't like to work with in gray with colored spots and a blue yarn, one of those that I inherited from my mother. Since I didn't have any black mustard, I used the only thing I had, light blue mustard for the nose. It is not very showy but well, something is something, isn't it?
Procedure
For the body I started with 20 chain stitches and from there I began to knit half stitches in a wraparound way, I made increases and decreases where I thought it was appropriate. I firmly promise, someday, to buy a notebook to start writing patterns. When I reached the desired height and shape, I began to close, filled and closed.
I knitted the head in a triangular shape, because mice have pointed noses. I made increases and decreases where it seemed appropriate, respecting the dimensions of the body. I filled and closed.
As for the ears, I started with blue thread for contrast. Too much gray is boring. After two wraps I changed to gray, did two more wraps and closed.
The arms, legs and tail were very easy to make, I knitted chain stitches and over them half stitches, until I reached the desired length. To shape the hands and feet, I simply folded a part of the fabric and sewed it.
I took three light blue beads and sewed them on the tip of the nose. As for the eyes. I cut white felt for the eyes and as a pupil, took blue thread, made a little ball, put silicone on it and glued it on. I joined all the pieces with a wool needle and that's it, I have Remy.
After finishing it I thought of an image I saw on social media of mice on the run .... Hahahaha and I think my Remy will be part of a new project that I will bring you later.

En mis sucesivos post les voy a ir contando como va mi aventura con este gigantesco proyecto. Una vez terminados los cuerpos, seguiré con el cabello y luego su vestimenta y aquello que las hace únicas … todavía estoy pensando cómo voy a desarrollar la idea de lo que las hace diferentes.
Ratatouille
En cuanto a esta semana, se me ha ocurrido una idea que vi en mis paseos por las redes sociales. Me encontré con un grupo de ratones, muy simpáticos y de muchos colores, por supuesto los ratones blancos y rosados resaltaban entre todos los demás.
Pensé automáticamente en Remy el adorable ratón gris que quería ser chef … y lo logró, por aquello de que para quien quiere, nada le es imposible. Así que busqué entre mis hilos y encontré un hilo muy grueso con el que casi no me gusta trabajar en color gris con manchas de colores y un hilo azul, de aquellos que me quedaron como herencia de mamá. Como no tenía mostacilla de color negro, usé lo único que tenía, mostacilla de color azul claro para la nariz. No es muy vistoso pero bueno, algo es algo, verdad?
Procedimiento
Para el cuerpo inicié con 20 cadenetas y a partir de allí en forma envolvente comencé a tejer medio puntos, hice aumentos y disminuciones donde me pareció adecuado. Prometo firmemente, algún día, comprar un cuaderno para comenzar a escribir patrones. Cuando llegué a la altura y forma deseada, comencé a cerrar, rellené y cerré.
La cabeza la tejí en forma triangular, por aquello de que los ratones tienen la nariz puntiaguda. Hice aumentos y disminuciones donde me pareció adecuado, respetando las dimensiones del cuerpo. Rellené y cerré.
En cuanto a las orejas, inicié con el hilo azul para darle contraste. Mucho gris es aburrido. Luego de dos vueltas cambié al gris, hice dos vueltas más y cerré.
Los brazos, patas y cola, fue muy sencillo de hacer, tejí cadenetas y sobre ellas medio puntos, hasta alcanzar el largo deseado. Para dar forma a las manos y pies, simplemente doble una parte del tejido y la cosí.
Tomé tres mostacillas en color azul claro y las cosí en la punta de la nariz. En cuanto a los ojos. Corté fieltro blanco para los ojos y como pupila, tomé hilo azul, hice una bolita, le coloqué silicón y lo pegué. Uní todas las piezas con una aguja lanera y listo, ya tengo a Remy.
Luego de terminarlo pensé en una imagen que vi en las redes sociales de ratones en fuga …. Jajajaja y creo que mi Remy será parte de un nuevo proyecto que les traeré más adelante.
