@storiesoferne.I have had a very busy few weeks. First without internet, with many obligations at work, then my pet got sick, and finally I went on retreat for a few days with the family constellations diploma group.
However, I want to share with you the paradisiacal place I visited for the retreat I did with my friends. The place is called Camp Valle Alegre. It is located in El Limón de Soapire, Los Valles del Tuy, two hours from Caracas, Venezuela.
The camp is totally remote. The nearest town is about 30 minutes away by car. So I was soon enveloped in green, green and more green, one of my favorite colors.
The first thing you imagine about a camp is that you will be sleeping in tents, under the moonlight and cooking on a makeshift wood stove. But we were welcomed in a beautiful rustic country house, with bathrooms, swimming pools, barbecue grills, and beautiful green areas.
Once we left the asphalt road, we drove along a stone road for about 15 minutes, which led us to the top of a hill, at that moment we appreciated a beautiful valley and right there a beautiful house with large gardens on all its borders.
Log fences adorn the perimeter of the house which has trees with beautifully colored flowers. A light grass lawn covers the back of the house with a view of the valley.
The house is of friezed block and slab roof, with wooden beams details that give it a rustic touch. The exterior floor is of terracotta pavers and the interior floor is polished cement. The only area where I appreciated ceramic tile was in the bathrooms, for obvious reasons.
The house has a beautiful large kitchen and dining room with wooden shelves. The interior design has that rustic touch that goes in total harmony with the place. The main living room has two models of furniture; both totally comfortable and their colors blended in with the place. As many of our activities were done in that place, the furniture was moved from there leaving the place open.
It's a place you don't want to leave. By the way, we didn't have to cook. The camp offers cooking service, so we only had to pay the cost of cooking food.
The place can accommodate up to 30 people. It has 5 air-conditioned rooms. Sleeping there is a delight, but the truth is that I slept very little. Our activities lasted until 2 am and by 6 am we were back in activities.
There is also a beautiful swimming pool and before entering the house there are showers and bathrooms. Perfect, because this way we did not have to enter the house wet. By the way, outside the house there was a barbecue and a wood stove. The last day we were delighted with a delicious soup made with firewood. It was a few days of total disconnection, I think that after that retreat I returned so immersed in myself that even now I feel that I am returning to see the world around me.
By the way, the house offered the shelter we needed for that retreat. It was a very well built and thought out place for the enjoyment of the people who go there to disconnect from civilization.
