Details

This is a logo proposal for Nutmega, as requested by the project in this post.
From the project's description:

Nutmega aims to be an open source web application that will help players of the Fantasy Premier League improve their performance with handy tools and information not available elsewhere.

The logo consists of a shield with a football and a ribbon, in the style of football teams' shields. The background has two vertical stripes suggesting a football field, but also invoking the two legs in the 'nutmeg' maneuver that is at the basis of the name of the project.

I have included two versions of the logo, one for darker brackgrounds, another for lighter backgrounds. See example use cases below.

Benefits / Improvements

The logo will be used in the project's repository and, most importantly, in the header and footer of the website. This will increase the project's polish and provide a recognizable brand to the project.

Tools

I have used Inkscape to produce the vector graphics. All the graphical elements (football, shield, ribbons) were drawn from scratch. Bitmap versions were exported from inkscape.

Original files

The svg files, as well as bitmaps for the logo can be download from here.
