before the release of the MCU Eternals film, I read Jack Kirby's original 18 issue run from way back when (it's all on Marvel Unlimited for those who read comic books). The comics I thought were A) a bit weird, and B) just didn't track with what I wanted to see in a movie adaptation. I am also unclear, even with Kirby's stories from the comics, how it fits into the whole Marvel Universe. Kirby's goal was, like with The New Gods that he did for DC, to create a new mythos. And I like most of what Kirby did during his career (including Kamandi).

Maybe, as it is on Disney+, I'll take the time to watch it, however it is way down on the bottom of the list of shows to watch. And I do mean way down as I now have about 1000 episodes of Dark Shadows to binge on, and now over a 1000 episodes of One Piece in the queue.
