just saw this article - Raiders of the Lost Ark, in its first run, played for over a year at the Grossmont theater in San Diego. there was also a "birthday Party" for it to celebrate. The reason it left the Grossmont? It was pulled weeks before it was scheduled to be re-released. Go figure!
