yep, starting with comics, and then on to books. There have been studies in Academia that shows that kids who read comic books on a regular basis grow up to be regular readers of books and do better scholastically. My daughter has become an avid reader of just about everything she can lay her hands on.

I have a pull-list at a comic book shop in Apple Valley. There are several other good shops in Minnesota, including a very big one up in St. Paul, but it is a heck of a long drive.
