All good points. Being involved in a few hive communities that interest you is important - engaging other contributors, and responding to comments. Easy to do. Follow community rules, like with the main community I am involved with, cintetv, the focus is movies and TV shows, and there are rules to follow. More importantly, have fun with it, because if you are having fun, you're writing will also improve. You don't need to post 10+ articles per day in a community. Just a few times per week.
