A small metropolis in the south, about two hours drive from central Cebu, Oslob is famous for whale shark diving. This is a whale shark spot that has been commercialized. They focus on shark for tourism. Oslob unlike other places in the Philippines like Donsol - is the natural whale shark spot.
Moving from CEBU CITY to OSLOB
Go south bus terminal (I'm stay in Cebu city), take the bus to Oslob. Bus ticket price 180 pesos.
The bus stops right at the entrance to the Oslob Whale Shark Watching for you, very convenient.
My experience with Oslob is that as long as there are other tourist destinations in the Philippines, you have to leave early if you do not want to wait for a few hours to get on the bus or take a boat to see the fish (I go from 3 am ).
Cost
The whale shark watching in Oslob for foreign tourists is 1000 Pesos, diving is 1500 pesos. You will be lent. Swimming clothes are prepared by yourselves.
