Hanoi weather these days is very cold with low temperature. The Lunar New Year is coming and I spend my leisurely days going to the exhibitions or walking on the streets selling peach blossoms to see the moment of preparation for spring. Today, let's see pictures through an interesting exhibition about Hanoi's culture

The exhibition was held at 22 Hang Buom, Hanoi. It is a Cantonese assembly hall with a building architecture that is characterized by the red and brown colors of the doors and the creamy white of the walls. The exhibition is divided into 2 zones with 2 different cultures, Vietnam and China

Outside on the terrace are pictures of simple Hanoi. Those are old streets with small houses. These are typical Vietnamese dishes such as spring rolls, pho, etc. . . I love watching watercolors because it's so vivid and soulful. Hanoi appears so idyllic and lovely

I was very interested in capturing the moment an elderly woman over 70 years old was holding a Tet peach tree and going to see pictures like me. The old lady slowly and gently goes through each picture as if she was remembering the past, she used to experience wonderful and simple things in Hanoi.

In addition to watercolors paintings , there are also oil paintings about the culture in the Northwest highlands of Vietnam. They are children with rosy cheeks lying on their mother's back or carrying a basket. All of them are very attractive and exude the friendly beauty of Vietnamese people

In the house is a display area of ​​antiques with Chinese cultural colors.
Han Nom characters, colors and patterns all exude an ancient Cantonese beauty

I have had moments of being immersed in the romantic memory of Hanoi and China. I hope to have many interesting exhibitions in Hanoi so that young people like me can admire more interesting works.
