It's interesting that police officers are committing suicide. This is a global phenomenon. Newspapers say the suicide rate among police officers is rising. Are they being bullied at work? Many are said to be in debt. Large sums of money are lost in stocks and gambling... And then there's the plummeting mental health.

Governments should exist to maximize public well-being. Mental health is at least as important as physical health.
