Short car journeys are more enjoyable. The pleasure increases when the weather is cool and the journey is leisurely. I haven't passed through this area in a while, so I missed it a bit, which made it even more enjoyable.

Finally, we arrived in the city center. I'm somewhat happy to be in the city center, but remembering there's a checkpoint a little further on spoils the fun. Having so many security checkpoints at such short intervals isn't pleasant for the people who live there. Luckily, we weren't stopped at the checkpoint and continued on our way. It was a very enjoyable day for me. I was happy to see places I hadn't seen in a long time.
