A few weeks ago, I shared a post about fog. This is another post from the same spot, also about fog—but this time, the fog is incredibly dense. It’s a level of density that’s truly awe-inspiring.
''Birkaç hafta önce sis ile alakalı bir gönderi paylaşmıştım. Yine aynı yerden yine sisle ilgili bir gönderi olacak. Ancak bu kez sis oldukça yoğun. Hayranlık oluşturacak bir yoğunlukta.''
I don’t recall ever seeing such dense fog before. The interesting thing was that the fog blanketed everything, reducing visibility almost to zero. Had the fog moved toward us, it would have wiped out our visibility as well; there was a strong possibility that the wind might shift it in our direction.
''Daha öncesinde bu denli yoğun sis gördüğümü hatırlamıyorum. İşin ilginç tarafı sis her yeri kapladı görüş mesafesini nerdeyse bitirdi. Bize doğru sis gelse bizdeki görüş mesafesini de yok edecekti. Rüzgarın sisi hareket ettirme payı yüksekti.''
During periods when such weather events occur, the surroundings become deserted. Apart from us, there were only a few other people present. I experienced some truly delightful moments then. I’m not sure if I’ll ever encounter a similar situation again.
''Böylesine hava olaylarının yaşandığı dönemler etraf ıssız olur. Bizim dışımızda bir kaç kişi daha vardı. O an çok keyifli anlar yaşadım. Yine benzer bir durum yaşar mıyım bilemiyorum.''
It is striking to see dense fog and sunlight captured together in the same frame. The trees add a unique beauty of their own—it’s just like a painting.
''Bir taraftan yoğun sis diğer taraftan güneş ışınlarını aynı karede görmek etkileyici. Ağaçlar da ayrı bir güzellik katmış. Adeta bir resim tablosu gibi.''
And this is the fog in the process of dispersing. Even in its dispersed state—when its impact has diminished—it remains quite striking.
''Bu da sisin dağılma hâli. Dağılmış hali, etkisinin azaldığı hâl bile oldukça etkileyici.''
