When players purchase tokens packs for use in game, the value of those packs is allocated to various accounts specific to each token. Those accounts actively use HBD conversion or HBD savings (depending on market conditions) and earnings from those activities help fund the rewards pools.

When an HBD conversion completes and the account has HIVE, it kicks it back to the main account so it can trade to HBD and pass it back to whichever account is furthest below its target.

It only moves a maximum of $3 at a time.

Add the various conditions/rules together and it adds up to a lot of HBD transactions.
