It was not very difficult to improve the appearance of the classic Wasteland released in 1988, since its graphic section was quite primitive in any of the systems for which it was released, such as Apple II, Commodore 64 and MS-DOS.
Yes, it seemed weird, anyway, that Microsoft had only published a few images, comparatively, knowing how little is missing for its premiere, without any video to accompany. So far, because Krome Studios and inXile Entertainment bring us their launch trailer for Xbox One and PC.
It is not a very successful video, because of the almost two minutes that lasts, we are only shown less than 10 seconds of the game in action, but it is enough to check first hand the huge change compared to the 1988 classic. Because that one was totally minimalist and with an overhead view.
Wasteland Remastered will be released, as we know, on February 25 in digital format for Xbox One, Microsoft Store, Steam and GOG, coming as a console gift for Xbox Game Pass users
