I won't say that move was 100% bad because it did increase curation. And instead of whales jealously looking at how Haejin was profiting, now they can all self-reward to a degree by rewarding others.

I look forward to reading your take on the present DV situation on HIVE, especially as it pertains to bad actors that sour the rapidly diminishing atmosphere. If not a debate, perhaps a healthy back and forth on the topic would do just as well. I know there are many former and present HIVE-folk that consider or considered this topic of great importance.

UPDATE: I just saw your comment to Lucylin.

"PoB isn't finished yet. I believe we all know that there is an issue with DVs that can be tweaked better. We had a 5min window for years that literally made no sense to me, and we finally lengthened it, and now it's much better. We can't remove DV's, but we can tweak, add outside systems that can help people being abused, and start exploring ways, as a community reaching consensus sorta like a proposal in the DAO, ways to punish obvious abusers of DV's. This is going to be a focus of mine going into next HF."

What you said gives me a lot of hope about the future of HIVE and probably negates the need for a debate. If there is anything I can do to help regarding brainstorming and the like, please let me know!
