If you complete a bachelor's degree before entering your program, it will take eight years to become a pharmacist, but if you enter a program after two or three years of undergraduate study, you can start practicing sooner."

I heard a clip the other day where a woman watched an interview (apparently she works/or/worked in medicine). And it turns out she learned that all the drugs get tested on super-duper hybrid rats with extra-long telomeres, and because of this, the animal-to-human studies don't jive well for people's puny telomeres. Suffice it to say--she had to come to grips with the fact that her entire career of writing people scrips was a lie. I feel bad for folks who are unfortunate enough to wake up that way.
