About that latter portion—I think what you say is true, that it would not be well received. You'd have the downvoter maliciously upvoting great content to piss other people off because they're pissed that their stake got nulled. I get pretty torqued when I get a random haejin/rancho vote, and it gets nulled because people are holding their past behavior against them. LOL, I got so pissed off that I suggested that smooth rancho and haejin ought to go null each other on the hbd.stabilizer comments and to leave me out of it. It is important not to get the opposite of a kindness boomerang going on. Just like good actions can be well-received and paid forward, the bad ones tend to have the same effect, and a road paved with good intentions can often lead to an unplanned destination. Similar to when TPTB promoted liberal downvoting in hopes that they could tap into crowd wisdom with disproportionate metrics.
