Apparently, 'it' (HIVE) is his own personal BDSM playground, and everyone else is just the man in the gimp suit. But what can you do? That's dPoS. Even real life is far more hostile to bad actors than dPoS is. As successful as HIVE is in the areas where it excels, it is a failed experiment in many other ways. The first chain split showed us that, and so does the continued behavior of the usual suspects. Fast forward into the future. Providing these jokers can survive the effects of the vaccine.

HIVE might comprise of one developer and tarazkp, the last person in the social media department. He'll continue to do his daily writing and upvoting his posts, and his dom on the dev team will wipe out half of his daily rewards to funnel money towards chain development where he thinks it "ought to go." By the time development is complete and "perfected," not even Justin Sun will be waiting in the wings to buy a controlling stake. What can you do; this is the HIVE-way; it's the HIVE-way or the highway, as they say.

The funny thing is, there are many people with a true passion for this project. Whatever 'it' is, it's kind of hard to nail down exactly what HIVE is. And many people bend over backward, acting as good HIVE netizens explaining how it works and thinking on ways to best market it, but ultimately it ends up being like that one meme where the guy pokes the thing with the stick and says: "C'MON DO SOMETHING."

I mean, for all intents and purposes: HIVE is whatever those with the most stake power want it to be. That's how it will either evolve into something or devolve into continued relative obscurity. The only thing that will force a resolution is competition in the marketplace. In part, communities do that, but more so, Outside platforms will eventually harness a working model that can't so easily get derailed by bad actors.

Once a platform successfully does this, there will be less reason for people to buy HIVE, and they'll get forced to quickly emulate the new and more successful model (proving them wrong all along), or they will slowly bleed out in the marketplace of ideas. And this is the beauty of the market and competition in general. I think it's safe to bank on the ingenuity of humankind and necessity who is the mother of invention.

I've spoken my piece on many occasions, both on and about the platform. And now all I have left to say is:

As they say, the success or failure of this dPoS platform as a whole is all about personal responsibility. And this is where the larger of the stakeholders choose to treat the community writ large. It's theirs to burn to the ground if they see fit. Don't be too surprised; I think the guy fetishizes the United Nations, a new world order, and the like.

He's probably one of those who fancies himself as an insider. Little do those types know that after they've paved the way to never-ending slavery, the leg humpers are the first to get kicked in the teeth because they become the new enemy class. It's whatever; I'm not too concerned with the success or failure of HIVE at this point. Although, I may use it on occasion to continue to perfect my craft.

I've switched it up from alcohol to weed lately. And this is a problem in that it kills my muse. The news fuels my blues, and that, in turn, leads to a misuse of booze. However, the evening news has become so weaponized that it seems strictly for demoralization purposes. That said, I've decided to spend some time apart from writing about it.
