Hey, thank you, @edystringz. And no offense taken, mad is quite a fair assessment! Most of the time, I write about super serious and rather depressing stuff. Then to balance it out, I tap into the nutty professor, and I usually find them somewhere near the bottom of the bottle, but it can take some time for some of the alcohol to wear off, bringing with it the ability to speak/create. I'd highly recommend not using substances to get there. Start with reality-bending for your creative endeavors. In writing and even, in reality, you can bend things into the absurd. We live in a sea of subjective perspectives, and we're all abandoned on these little liferafts that we've created with our doors of perception, and we cling onto them for dear life.
Neither you, I, or anyone can grasp hold of objective reality. I mean, sure, we can pretend to, but it's not true. So, when you realize that you can't see objective reality and everyone else has a different subjective reality, you are effectively liberated to explore any life raft you want. Either that or remake your own so that there is more space aboard, kind of like Dr. Who's Tardis. If you fancy it, you can hop around to other people's life rafts and put yourself in their shoes for a day. Lately, I've been mind-bending in reality and my creative works. It's fun. I think you'd enjoy it. Once you tap into the vast and vibrant field of humming, popping, and buzzing energy, nothing can stop you. Check out this for some more reality bending.
