Even if you go with a hypothetical Marxist society that is going to do it "the right way." You can't achieve this without free market prices, and you can't have a free market, if it's a centrally controlled market.
The problem is, you can't accurately redistribute the wealth without knowing the value of all the things. And if you try, you will make mistake, after mistake, and these mistakes will slowly pile up until the system fails and turns to authoritarianism out of sheer desperation. Eventually the state runs out of omelette and need's to break some more eggs, but the eggs are made out of people!
