debtfreein2@debtfreein2, thank you. Just to be clear, I am not saying climate change is not an issue. The weather impacts us all. Anytime there is a hurricane, tornado, or even a hot day, it affects our lives. Concerning clean air, it’s not carbon dioxide that people are worried about, we all produce carbon dioxide, as it is a byproduct of our respiration. We inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide as we are carbon-based life forms.

Trees breathe in carbon dioxide and convert the gas into oxygen. We breathe in the oxygen and produce carbon dioxide. The relationship between humanity and plant life is symbiotic. That said, a war on carbon dioxide is a war not only on man, but also the oxygen-producing plants and trees that we need for survival.

These are the reasons for the above questions that I posed. What will the human toll be if we cripple industry and cause great famines all in the name of saving how many degrees in temperature? Also, who is to say that these temperature changes aren't a natural part of a larger celestial orbit? Our recorded temperature data only goes back 139 years to 1880.

It would be the pinnacle of hubris to discount the greater Milankovitch cycles and other natural phenomena for being causal factors in our climate woes. Back in the day, the priest class gaslit people using foreseeable solar eclipses to manipulate them into sacrificing their valuable items to "the gods." What you're witnessing here may be no different, this is why it's important to ask ourselves and answer the above questions.
