"You cant point at one country and say that they alone are the reason we have issues. thats bullshit."

I haven't done that. I think you might be getting confused with how you feel about what I said vs. what I said. Most of America's problems stem from bad governance. Borders are real though, and even we Americans can't willy-nilly go anywhere we want. When we go on vacation or migrate, we have to get travel documents and whatnot. I think you'll eventually see how socialism destroys countries as the entire left is now pushing for it. Many people have a desire for free everything: free healthcare, free college, and now people want a free income. If these things were fiscally possible, I'd be for it too!

The problem is, it's not possible, it's not free, and it doesn't work. All these types of programs end up doing, in the long run, is increasing poverty. I suspect you'll witness this eventually anyhow, as a president cannot be president for more than eight years. If Trump loses the next election to a Democrat, you can try out socialism and see where that gets the US. There is a concerted effort to destroy industry in North America, the powers that be want to take the European model and create a North American Union. Unfortunately for people in Europe, they had to learn this was a bad idea the hard way, and even after voting to exit, they're having problems extricating themselves from the mess they've created.

Americans, if smart enough, will learn from their example and hopefully, we won't have to make the same mistakes. You can try to see racism all you like, and that is fine, but the truth of the matter is, there are certain economic realities which separate the successful from the dilapidated. You can see this on a small level in the U.S. by comparing styles of governance from one state to the next. Things can get radically different from one area to another. The homelessness epidemic in sanctuary cities is one example of many. Unfortunately, this problem if not adequately solved, will likely lead to the spread of plague in cities like L.A. and San Francisco.

Democrats are so preoccupied with winning the next election that they have to import as many non-citizens in as possible to win the vote. In the meantime; homelessness, garbage, fleas, and rats rule major California cities. We can relate a lot of this to California’s horrible three-strike policy, which after Proposition 36 caused a slew of non-violent offenders to get released from prison en masse, and this contributed to the homeless population. I mean, it’s great that California released non-violent offenders from prison and all, but part of the unforeseen consequences, is the homelessness epidemic, feces on the streets, and heroin addled zombies in desperate need of toilet paper and a pot to shit in.

Oh, there is plenty of criticism to go around, it’s not like America is some kind of shining jewel to behold. I don’t want to see things get even more broken in the name of some utopian altruism that we can’t finance. Don’t you think the U.S. should be able to solve poverty for its citizens before tackling the poverty of other countries? If we can’t do that, we’re terminally ambitious. I agree with you that corporations who desire cheap labor, and the people’s demand for drugs, are a big part of what contributes to drug trafficking and illegal immigration. Corporations who pay people anything less than minimum wage should be subject to exorbitant fines, curtailing the war on drugs will reduce demand too. However, you still have that problem of the 2020 elections, and who will win it, this is a big factor that fuels the agenda of sanctuary cities.

Anywho, it was an interesting debate, even though we ended up disagreeing with one another. I guess as time goes by, we’ll see how it all pans out. I’m equally disempowered, in how the country is run as you are. But hopefully right moves are made, and situations and circumstances improve in tangible ways, for as many people as possible. I’m sure we can agree on that stuff. Perhaps we have similar goals with different directions on how to get there. It was nice chatting with you torico@torico. o7
