Jiang Yan's nephew tells him that he wants to visit Jianghu because he has heard so many stories about it from other people and has become fascinated by the place. The story then shifts to the present where my character whom I named Thongga is practicing swordsmanship against a man in black but ends up losing the duel. After the fight Ruby helps Thongga back to his feet and tells him to head to the General Shrine. However Thongga came here to learn about a few things so he decides to stay a little longer. After entering the house Thongga discovers a letter from his uncle Jiang which had been sent by someone named Wei. When Thongga is about to leave Ruby asks him to buy her a storybook. She becomes disappointed when they cannot find one so Thongga promises that he will buy her a storybook when they pass through the General Shrine.
They then continue their journey home. Along the way while they are talking an unknown person suddenly shoots a bird with an arrow right in front of them. Thongga does not like what happened because it could have easily caused an accident. When they approach the stranger he apologizes to Thongga and gives him an Archery Tips Book. After that an archery challenge begins and I manage to win on my second attempt.
A beautiful reflection in a drop of water signals a transition into the past. There Jiang Yan's young nephew asks him to take him to a place. Jiang Yan asks if he means Jianghu. His nephew explains that he overheard several travelers talking about it on their journey and found the stories incredibly interesting. They were discussing eight different places that are home to eight legendary warriors known for their exceptional skills. After hearing this Jiang Yan confidently shows off a little by that he is no less capable than any of them. His nephew is delighted to see that and smiles with excitement.
The story then suddenly returns to the present where my character is sparring with a man in black. From the way he fights it feels like he is training my character in swordsmanship. Near the end of the session he uses a mysterious skill on my character causing me to lose consciousness.
A girl named Ruby wakes up my character whom I named Thongga by repeatedly slapping him. She tells him that they should head to the General Shrine. Thongga replies that he has a few things to take care of first and that they will go to the General Shrine afterward. While looking around Thongga notices the symbol of the Men in Black on a broken door nearby.
After that Thongga enters the house where he finds a letter addressed to his uncle Jiang. After reading it he begins to wonder whether his uncle has any connection with the Men in Black. When Thongga comes back outside Ruby is disappointed because she could not buy the storybook she wanted. Thongga comforts her by promising that he will buy her a storybook when they pass through the General Shrine on their way home.
After that Ruby and Thongga set off together for home. Along the way they come across a bridge suddenly it broke and Thongga leaps across it with ease.
Later Thongga and Ruby arrive at a beautiful hilltop. While they are talking an arrow suddenly strikes the bird in front of them. They decide to find the person who fired the shot. After hearing what happened the mysterious men apologizes to them and gives Thongga an Archery Tips Book which he wrote himself.
After that Thongga and Feng Jisheng compete in an archery challenge. On the second attempt Thongga wins with a perfect score of 5 to 0.
Feng Jisheng congratulates Thongga on his victory. After that they talk about the Men in Black and during their conversation I hear the name of another mysterious person known as Killerblade.
