Perhaps no one really cares what you do or don't do when the market is gushing blood at an astonishing rate, as if a whaler has mastered his gigantic prey and pierced it with precision to make the blood flow. Everyone has their own strategy (or lack thereof) and I am no different, I lack it. I am a bad strategist, or rather impulsive, living in the present moment, as I learned before the popular coaches who dominate the front pages of social apps. And living in the present makes me a little at the mercy of the waves of blood that take over the market.
Two months ago I decided to start a power-down to take advantage of the Hive's high, and it was EXACTLY there that the value started to fall, as if I was fatally directing the cosmos with a kind of nihilistic and self-sabotaging math. But no, it's just another sign that I'm retrograde and could have gone ahead to have a good portion of Hives available when the market went up. There is a human tendency to feel that things go wrong "FOR" you, but no, you are not necessarily the protagonist of the cosmos, for better or for worse. But, paradoxically, we are at least protagonists of our own lives and we can do something with it, right?
And what do I do in times of low? Watching Btc and Hive fall like a lifeless fish on hot early February concrete? All I can do is the basics of the basics: Don't sell. Is obvious. Coin is not sold for free. It's a basic strategy. It's the same thing I did with POB when it stopped being worth something (and by chance it never came back worth anything), but I keep staking, saving, based solely on the hope of one day seeing value in the token again. In the case of Hive, at least I don't have this affliction of uncertainty, whatever the downturn I know is temporary and that the currency is much more consolidated and firm and that it can go back to 3 dollars like a few months ago, and when get there is that it will be worth selling some. For now we follow the classic movement, the first learned in the world of cryptocurrencies: HODL
