HELLO steemians how was the week-end? hope you had fun .i welcome you to another exciting week. I want to talk about leadership.
What is Leadership?
LEADERSHIP according to WAREN BERNACE is the capacity of an individual to translate vision to reality.
According to JOHN MAXWELL Leadership is influence, nothing more and nothing less.
According to Dr DAVID OYEDEPO Leadership is the product of efficient management of self, task, and resources in a particular field of endeavour.
But I define Leadership as the process of inflencing people to do things that the leader wants them to do.
There are four prime qualities of a leader, they are;
1.Capacity
2.Morality
3.Integrity
4.Contentment
We have three leadership styles;
1.Autocratic leadership style;makes decision by himself
2.Democratic leadership style; involves others in decision making
3.Laissez faire leadership style; makes little inputs on decision making. Followers make decision.
There is no best style of leadership, the style that a leader chooses to adopt depends on the situation he finds himself.
