it's close to the holidays! and yet I've had work to deliver :3
and I'm glad that this was the last commission of the year
A recurring client asked me to draw his favorite character for the third time in a row, this time in a specific pose and with oily skin.
nwn Before I continue with my step by step o3o I want to thank all of you who are there and read me whenever you can, it really means a lot to me nwn, I hope next year is full of job opportunities for all of you.

mmmm lets see

What you will need:

• any drawing program
• a client, you can be your own client and practice this way
• a desire to do something great
• ah yes let's not forget, a pc that doesn't explode XD

Basically you can do commissions with whatever you have in your hand, programs don't make you better, I've known artists that draw super cool and the only thing they use is the touchpad of their laptop so yeah... really anyone with enough desire to do something... will do it, as simple as that.

1. suggestions and sketch

After a long talk with the client, he decided to send me a reference image of how he wanted the pose and with what characteristics, that's how I started to put my hands to work and I made the first sketch.

Un cliente recurrente me pidió dibujar a su personaje favorito por tercera vez consecutiva esta vez en una pose especifica y, que la piel luciera aceitosa.

1. sugerencias y boceto
Después de una charla algo extensa con el cliente, decidió enviarme una imagen de referencia de como quería la pose y con que características, asi fue como comencé a poner mis manos a trabajar y realice el primer boceto

2. Outlining and flat colors

since it's a character that already exists, I didn't take too long to choose a color palette, I went straight to the colors I needed after I made a well defined lineart for the character.

2. Delineado y colores planos 
Como es un personaje que ya existe, no tardé mucho en elegir una paleta de colores, fui directamente a los colores que necesitaba después de hacer un lineart bien definido para el personaje.

3. Final result!

the commission this client made in november, by then I was working on another project, the client knew this and was fine with waiting a little longer, especially because there is already a trust, whenever I take a little longer I usually add some extras to my clients, to compensate for the delay, in this case I added a christmas lingerie to the character.

la comision este cliente la realizo en noviembre, para entonces estaba trabajando en otro proyecto, el cliente sabia esto y estaba bien con esperar un poco mas, sobre todo porque ya hay una confianza, siempre que demoro un poco mas suelo a;adir algunos extra a mis clientes, para compensar la demora, en este caso a;adi una lenceria de navidad al personaje 

Here is a brief example of what the drawing looks like without all the details I tend to do, it makes me happy to be able to work on this kind of commissions and I hope they never miss XD

average drawing time : about 20 hours distributed in 5 days
