OKAY, I know 50 followers are not that much compare to those who have thousands of followers. Maybe one of you will think why I made it a big deal? Well.. out of all my social media accounts, it took me months to have more than 20 followers. Not because I don’t socialize online well but it’s just really hard to connect easily there. While here on Steemit, it took me just two weeks. How much more if I’m really active reading informative blogs and posting good quality content blog? So yes, I’m happy! 🤗
I admit, when I first joined Steemit, I wished I get a lot of upvotes, comments and followers everytime I will post something. Yes we all want to get upvotes or comments for our posts but one thing I learned from this 2 week experience is to build connection first. Build relationship with other writers. Learn from their experiences and of course absorb their tips.
Here in Steemit, it’s easy to communicate. It’s not necessary that your English grammar is perfect. The truth is, there is no perfect language. Just be yourself and say what you want to say. If you really can’t understand, there are a lot of translators online who will translate it for you.
Language is not an excuse if you really want to talk to other people.
Cheers to more followers! HODL 🙌🏼👍💥🥂🍾
