This was the big surprise package!!!
The biggest surprise gift package <3
This is going to be my third and second last post about my secret santa package from 2024,sorry in advance for the phone pictures but I just don't have the time currently to sit down to take proper pictures, I lack the energy to do a lot of things atm, I'm lacking inspiration to put together a proper post as well. Hence the low count of posts lately. I feel a bit guilty for not sharing things quicker with a long backlog but such is life.

OMG, look at all that silver!
1986 USA 1 dollar, 100th anniversary - Statue of Liberty
I think I found the info, minted in San Francisco (S mintmark) and I believe it's a proof coin due to the shiny nature you can't see in these pictures, lol. But as I bumped upon this information on one website, see below, this seems to be correct.
I feel a bit guilty for not having the energy to dig any deeper at the moment, but I just can't keep my focus on these informative websites. I'm keeping it on my desk until I can though. If any of the US members wants to throw me some educational comments to confirm (or not lol) that's very helpful. Either way, I love the coin a lot, and even though it looks much better without the capsule, I'm going to keep it in there because it has already changed quite a bit in colour so it seems. Thank you dear "Secret" Santa <3
1 oz Silvertowne mint buffalo bar
Now this one is actually a funny one to receive because of the fact that I had one buffalo in my posession but gave it away this year for Secret Santa because it was actually the only one I could part with at this point. So imagine my laughter when I opened this one and found a new Silvertown mint buffalo piece but this time a rectangle one :)
I think this one is much cooler though, I didn't have any rectangle silver piece yet, so thank you dear Santa :)
Just one more to go
I will share the final two pieces I received in the next precious metals post. I'm surely not going to promise that it will appear in a few days because the facts have proven that it's more likely to drop a post once every 3-5 days than a daily one at the moment so see you next week, I guess.
I'm hoping to find some more sparkle before that time though because I'm getting on my own nerves in terms of not showing up every day at the moment. I read a lot when I'm not logged in so I'm keeping up with other people's content, just not engaging much, I guess it's a phase, maybe you recognize it yourself from time to time.
Wishing you a great week ahead!
