I wish more humans would realize this. Just because they are not walking on 2 legs, paying bills, talking like humans, doesn't mean they are not as equal in a sense.

@anacristinasilva I totally hear ya on that. It saddens me to no end when I see people abandon their dogs, or hurt them in any way. We live in the country, inside city limits, but still out country way.

I really liked what you wrote. My husband and I love our dogs with all our hearts. We have 2 rescues right now. One of which no one wanted because they said he was too needy. He is the best protector ever.
