Utopian Suggestion to Add Feature that Allows user to search Usernames
Components
The component I want to suggest here is to add a feature in utopian.io in which users can search the utopian contributor usernames.
As a utopian contributor, I also want to know who of my friends or people that I know are also a utopian contributor. With this, I find companion and it boost some energy if I know some of my colleagues are doing same thing as I am.
There are some scenarios that give me ideas why we need to add username search box. I have a friend who also a utopian contributor. He give me is username verbally which I know that his username name is related to his real name. It is a common practice in here to change intentionally the spelling of their to make it sound unique. For example, instead of "S" they change it to "Z", instead of a letter "O" they change to number "0", and sometimes they add numerical figures to the names.
With this happening, it bothers me searching for username. The option I know to search their name is to add URL of utopian.io with its username (https://utopian.io/@thinkingmind). But when we misspelled the username, no profile will be shown.

Proposal
What I am proposing here is to add this feature:
This is a feature that user can search for usernames of their choice. It also has additional feature that will display all the related names for the searched username. For example, If I search the username "thinkingmind", related names like "think, thinker, thingkingmind" will also appear.

If this suggestion will be implemented, this is how it will work.
If the "Search Username" function is used, it will be directed to the page where there is a search box to input the username.
For example, we will input the username thinkingmind, all possible username related to thinkingmind will be shown. it also provides a URL of the username to go directed to the profile page of username.
Benefits
Here are the benefits if implemented;
- User can search the username for utopian contributor.
- If user is trying to search username by guessing, it will be possible because it will show the related username.
