Components
Screamer Radio Window
Screamer Radio is an online based radio. Also described as a radio player with online broadcast. Thru Screamer radio, we can now listen to our favorite radio stations which ever part of the world that could be reach with internet. We can listen radio broadcast from a specific country even if you are not there. This is a great radio player.
The components that I want to suggest here is to add Screamer Radio a section or feature that can sort the radio stations by country. It acts like a filter that will addresses to the inputted country.
Proposal
Screamer radio can play the radio stations almost over the world. There are times that I want to search for a stations found in a specific country. It is like just browsing stations for specific country and pick for the good one. Good thing that this radio player display the origin country of every station like the picture below.
But it would be easier or less burden if we are browsing all the stations with in the same country. For example in the picture below. The text in red box is their country of origin.
What I am proposing here is to add a feature that users can filter all the radio stations with the country of origin. In this way, it will display all the radio stations from selected country.
Mockups / Examples
Here is an example on how it works.
In current setup of screamer radio, there button with different functions. If we click the stations button, it will display all the stations.
For the suggestion, these buttons will be change to this,
Buttons were change to All Stations, Stations by Country, Log, Setting and About.
If we click the All Stations button, all available stations will display.
If we click the Stations by Country buttons, list of countries will appear to choose from.
For example we will choose USA. Displayed stations will all from USA.
Benefits
Here are the benefits if implemented:
- Users can filter the radio station by origin of country.
- Users can easily browse if he/she is looking a radio station coming from a specific country.
