Components
The component that I want to suggest here is to add Maps.me a language option and download option in the settings menu. This language option will change the language setting of maps.me. Download option will provide users to select which maps will be pre-downloaded before using it in offline mode. I am using this app especially when I am travelling for a long period of time. It does not requires internet usage which makes it power efficient and makes my cellphone battery last for the whole day while travelling.
There are some concerns that sometimes bothers me when using this application. Since this is an offline map, users will need to download first the map. Only way to download the map is to navigate the undownloaded map and a dialog box will pop up asking to download the map.
Proposal
Maps.me is an offline map that can be use in navigating direction, places and destinations. Maps.me operates somewhat the same with other map apps but, there are some differences. This map can navigate in offline mode, it means it can be use even if the uses did not uses the internet. The language used in this application is English. I am concern for those users who may not or have difficulty in English.

What I am proposing here is to add these in maps.me settings;
These addition will make the users be able to change the language setting and download the preferred maps before using.
Mockups / Examples
If the suggestion will be implemented, this is how it works.
This is the current settings menu of maps.me.
"Language" and "Download Maps" will be add in maps.me settings menu.
If the user will click the language option settings, a menu of languages will display to select.
And if the user will select the download maps setting, a list of maps of countries will be shown.
Benefits
Here are the benefits if implemented:
- Users can choose language according to their preferred language.
- Users can select which map to download for offline navigation.
- Users can download the maps before navigating, it means downloading the maps at the time it is need to use will be avoided. In this case, users can manage more the application and make the map available on time.
