Not all Kickstarter games are terrible, some are actually pretty awesome. "A Hat in Time" was developed by a nearly all-volunteer development team in different parts of the world and somehow they created an experience that rivals games from the big AAA studios. It is a fun 3D platformer clearly inspired by classics like Super Mario Sunshine, Banjo Kazooie, and Spyro the Dragon. Available on Steam, PS4 and Xbox One this is a cute game that's great for gamers regardless of their age.
