I hope you are well. I am a traveler, a dancer, an investor, and a hard-worker. I was introduced to the steemit community by a young couple I met at a Meetup group. Originally from Hawai'i, I have recently arrived in Australia and am carving out a life here. I have lived and worked now in five countries, and have traveled to many more. I hope to write about how to travel while working in a professional career, and the trials and tribulations of immigrating to Australia. Having entered the professional world recently, I have gained a strong interest in learning to invest. I am on my journey now, and I feel like that is the most interesting time. I hope to share my knowledge of investing as I go, as well as to learn from you all in the digital and crypto worlds as I go along. I started out by learning about property (like every good Ozzie), and have focused on books by Robert Kiyosaki and Michael Yardney. The podcasts by The Property Couch also get me going to and from work. At the moment, finance is consuming a lot of my spare time.
Finally, having been in the underappreciated zouk dance scene for a couple of years, I hope to eventually document my journey of improvement and techniques. Zouk, a Brazilian dance, is very flow-y with steps resembling salsa. The dance hinges on the connection of the two dancers, and the water-like and elastic movements that tie them together. The rhythm zouk follows is usually RnB or pop, and is very relevant. Zouk is sheerly enchanting.
I am very happy to have discovered the steemit community. It would be great to get to know you all better. I am excited to find interesting content on this site, and make this my new home. I also look forward to meeting writers in the areas of traveling and investing (and if possible also in zouk), so I can continue to learn. Feel free to say hello!
