I have never paid much attention to street kitties until I joined r/streetcatsoftheworld. I always thought that my own kitty posts were becoming boring, so I’m pleased to have a new type of post I can share here.
Earlier this evening, I met a suspicious kitty hanging around my car just before I got in to drive.
I tried to speak to this kitty in “human meow,” and it answered back with a big “meooow.”
Although I could see a suspicious look in its eyes, it was reading me and possibly puzzled by my phone as I tried to take some shots.
Anyway, it turned its back but still kept peeping.
I knew it wanted a little stroke as it was slithering and stretching while walking.
As I was trying to stoke it, it walked ahead and decided to go.
Then he sneaked out through a gap in the bushes, and the other side is a country road.
Then the kitty confidently walked in the middle of the road as if it owned the whole place. More likely, it was on its way home, as there were a few houses further down the road.
I had thought it was just hanging out by the car park, and I think I disturbed its plans and had to rush home.
Have a lovely day.
