my family and i often drive out to Blouberg beach to walk the dogs and to watch the sun go down, last night it failed to disappoint. we had our doubts while driving to the beach because the weather was rather over cast with short moments of light showers. but as we arrived at the beach we could see a gap between the thick clouds and the horizon. we waited abit before a bright ball of orange came into view, the orange light replaced the darkness. i couldn't help but be in awe of what i was experiencing. i think alot often we are so busy caught up in the hustle and bustle of life that its so easy to forget to enjoy the little things, things like just standing still and appreciating how beautiful something as regular and constant as a sunset is.
