Today I woke up to a message from my neighbor "@aceofthegrove" asking if I wanted to go for a walk to take some pictures. Reluctantly I said sure I mean who really wants to sleep in on a Sunday morning right? So I rolled out of bed got dressed and started the "daily driver."
"I know what many of you are thinking you're crazy for driving that in a Michigan winter!"
We arrived at the local park where we planned to take pictures and the first thing I did was slip and fall on the slick road. I quickly got to my feet and the journey began. We decided the best place to start was the trail since it followed the river.
"I was hoping for more ice coverage than this so I could try walking on it."
While walking we encounters a little fluffy squirrel munching on a nut.
"Took me forever to find him luckily the neighbor was more awake than I was!"
Our journey lasted for about two miles before we decided it was to cold to continue any farther. All in all it was a pretty good day. I got to see how different the trail is in winter and how much they have added to it since the last time I walked it.
