Apple CEO Tim Cook DEFENDS Globalization as factory workers SUICIDE.
American corporate politics hit a new low when Apple CEO Tim Cook defends globalization while Chinese factory workers building IPhones commit SUICIDE due to the harsh working conditions in those horrible factories.
I can almost hear stock horror movie music playing in my ears while reading the article while gut-wrenching images of workers in these factories are quite literally being conjured up in my mind; which you Steemians can check out for yourselves IF you can stomach this grotesque curmudgeon snake on what he has to say at http://macdailynews.com/2017/03/18/apple-ceo-tim-cook-defends-globalization-walks-tightrope-on-privacy-in-rare-public-speech-in-china/
Apparently, Tim Cook is so dead set on smelling cash on a regular basis at his evil lair/headquarters, that he fails to see the human costs of foreigners working slave labor in what can best be described as "torture chambers" IMHO.
As with the case with all American corporations, the bottom line is ALWAYS, the bottom line.
Profits above all else. At ANY COST.
So tell me Mr. Cook. Do you like the smell of human beings "cooking" in black-smoke belching factories? Do you even have one ounce of compassion for the people that put all their blood, sweat, and tears into making what is essentially overpriced junk that's gonna be replaced with an even newer, shinier, overpriced piece of junk sometime in the very near future in the United States of America?
I wonder how would you feel if your children, if you have any, if they had to work in such conditions making overpriced junk for the gullible masses to waste their hard-earned cash for?
Would you even want them to work in such conditions after college?
Probably not, but knowing your corporate mindset, you'd rather sacrifice innocent foreign workers for massive profits for your company. A company that was founded by a man who was by no means a saint, either.
A man, whom someone once implied that he wish he knew his kids better.
But by the time that same man got his bearings straight in his otherwise strayed relationship with his kids, he died.
He spent too much of his free time going on lectures about how he was going to make and sell shiny new toys for the masses to get their grubby little hands on.

And the sad part is that in today's society, most people are like that. Take a stroll in Times Square, and you'd be hard-pressed to not see anyone staring into their IPhones; even parents are paying more attention to their electronic devices, ironically enough, made by people in foreign countries with kids of their own, than their own children!!
Getting back to the subject, although Tim Cook is keen on his business practices, most people reading the article should also be aware that his defense of globalization directly conflicts with Trump's mission to bring jobs back to America; like two battleships engaged in naval warfare.
Despite all this, the most important part of this issue is the plight for the safety of the workers who are being literally forced to produce for their masters; in America no less!! How long can we allow this to continue until it reaches a breaking point; where mass protests and demonstrations hit the streets of New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles? Something MUST be done to improve working conditions for the workers.
Or they could do the sensible thing and just quit.
But seeing as how they have families to support and often than not, are very poor, this isn't an option.
However the real option Americans have of stopping this, is to simply hit em where it hurts. In their wallets. By boycotting the ever-living SHIT out of Apple and any other corporation that defends globalization for the sole purpose of high profits at the expense of human life.
But Americans love their toys too much to even care about the lives from abroad literally wasting away in these aforementioned torture chambers.
This isn't anything new, but the reality of it is utterly horrifying and grotesque.
Globalization? More like an economic eldritch abomination spawned from a dimension far away.
