Today I finally have took the time to grab my fitbit and connect it to the charger again. Everytime I forgot to connect the damn thing.
I do like the Fitbit. I bought it in January in order to use it to track my steps and use it with running. In January 2016 I had an operation because I had a damaged cartilage on my right knee. (2nd degree). This still hurts from time to time. I hoped that it wouldn't get in the way with running but I had to quit because it started to hurt quite a bit after all...
But I also tracked my total steps with the FitBit and found out that a good walk can burn just as much calories as running 5KM. I started logging all the food that I ate and drink. I eventually managed to go from 83KG at the end of Januari to 74KG right now. I had to buy some new pants because even using a belt wasn't sufficient anymore haha.
I also found out that my heart-rate is usually pretty low. Even when I'm running it won't go up as much as you'd expect. It's currently 52. While I'm asleep I found out that it drops below 50 and sometimes even reaches 38 for a while.
But the bit has been charged again, and I'm ready to continue my journey. Let's see if I can reach 70KG.
I'll end with a nice sunset I encountered while driving back home.
