Hi @creativemary
I feel the idea of using ones face and body as a canvas is very interesting and challenging at the same time. Not only in terms of the three dimensional canvas it offers but also in terms of how the change in the facial expressions and body postures can change the presentation and the message the art form conveys.
I am fascinated to say the least. how much time did this process take from the time you started to the finished work?
Did you apply some base oil or cream for preparing the body.
I think once the painting part is finished you have a new set of opportunities and challenges when it comes to photographing.
Did you do it like a self portrait on camera or did you take a photographers help to capture the art on camera ?
Mary I must say this is a great art form difficult to execute as it has so many elements that can go wrong yet so gratify to see and experience.
It is so surreal when well executed. For me it seems it is not the body but the inner self the soul which is conveying a series of message to the viewer.
So it is more of a dialog that you have created between the soul of the artist and the viewer.
