I was introduced to Steemit by my friend 
I'm still using an old username, paischaros, on Facebook, Twitter, and Deviantart, but they're still me (as you'll soon see when I share a link to this post on those sites). Instagram is where I started therosepatch and I'm trying to use that going forward :)
Some of these are movies I grew up with, others are ones I watch on a daily basis with my 16 month old daughter. Please note that I have an extensive list and there's no possible way I can list everything, so what you see here are just a few of my top favorites. Same goes for the TV Shows and Books lists below :)
I've been in love with horses all of my life, but was never able to build a life around horses. In fact, as a child I would pretend to be a horse, and I'd gallop up and down the hall on all fours, getting bruises and rug burns all the way. I drove my parents crazy with it, but I had a blast. I then spent my teen years finally getting the riding lessons I'd always wanted. I even competed a few times in small shows and I think I still have the ribbons I won.
Because of my love for horses my favorite mythological creature is the unicorn, so a lot of my fantasy stories over the years feature them as main characters.
It's been a very long time since I've written anything, the last being a poem I wrote for the babies I lost through miscarriage before I had my daughter. It is my hope that being on Steem will help me get my writing mojo back and inspire my creativity that's been dormant for so long.
