Hi Dania,
This is a cool story, and I can relate. While I had always my own bed, I used to be so scared of monsters I slept with my blanket over my head and tightly wrapped around me, almost choking because it was hard to breathe. The thought of getting out of bed I had the fear if I stuck my feet out some monster under my bed will grab them.
Eventually, this changed. In school I surprised myself, though being one of the smaller kids, that I won all my fights. So the time came when this old line was my leading thought:
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, because I am the meanest son of a bitch in the valley".
