The Wanderer’s soul
Alone on an ocean
Where my mind is a sea
And my heart the moon
That transfixes the lone wolf that is my emotions
The waves tell me stories
The sea is a place;
Wherein I drown my worries
With tears off my face
My mind is a pool
As clear as day
Though it muddles
With thoughts set in place;
Thoughts birthed by blooming friendships
And withered relationships:
Wasted time, wasted emotions
Sunken boats on a raging ocean.
My heart is a wasteland
Where choked words hold a choke on feelings
And there’s no ground for sowing
And seeds like love don’t exist
Onwards I go
A wraith draped in gray
No friends, zero relationships forged in gold
A free spirited wandering soul
