Happiness — Is It Found, or Made?

Everyone wants to be happy, but few can agree on what happiness truly means. Some spend their lives searching for it in relationships, success, or possessions while others believe it’s something you build from within, no matter where you are or what you have.

For some, happiness is found in the small things: a quiet morning, a shared laughter, or a moment of peace after chaos. For others, it feels like a distant prize something that only comes after goals are achieved or dreams are realized.

We see this question play out in everyday life:

A traveler finds joy in exploring new places, while another feels happiest just being home.
A rich man owns everything but still feels empty inside.
A poor family, with little to their name, still laughs together every night.
Someone spends years chasing success, only to realize peace was never waiting at the finish line.

But here’s the twist:

Is happiness something we discover like a treasure waiting to be found or something we create through our choices, mindset, and actions?

Some say, “Happiness finds you when you stop searching.”
Others believe, “You build your happiness brick by brick, every day.” And many agree, “Happiness isn’t a place it’s a decision.” A choice".
