Nice! Did some guerrilla gardening a few times here and there, but could never get them as thick and lush as these. I guess it was hard to be there for the plants when they were hidden so deeply. Who knows, I could barely get any basil or tomatoes to grow this year, so maybe I should have been singing to them more!

I see in the planter another plant, sort of minty-smelling ground cover. It looks like what my mom used to call 'horsemint', but that was probably a regional name. Anyway, I noticed it because Howie once told me that when a plant invades one's garden and living area, that plant likely has specific medicinal uses for the human who lives there, as nature kind of knows what it's doing in those ways. So that horsemint has also invaded my garden this year, but I don't know what it's trying to tell me.
